Our Mission
Ila Dance Academy LLC is a multicultural arts and education organization based in Southern California, serving San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles since 2016. We provide a wide range of services including educational classes, workshops, cultural programs, live performances, and professional development opportunities across the performing and visual arts. Our network of instructors and artists includes experts in dance, music, theater, and cultural studies, allowing us to deliver high-quality instruction and programming to diverse communities.
In addition to classes and performances, we operate our own studio facility, which is available for rentals, community gatherings, and cultural events. Our team includes professional musicians, music instructors, and cultural educators, enabling us to offer comprehensive programming for schools, nonprofits, community centers, and government initiatives. We have extensive experience organizing and delivering large-scale cultural events, festivals, and educational programs that celebrate diversity, foster community engagement, and support cultural preservation.
Through out the past decade, we have provided an enriching environment for young children and teenagers to develop their social skills, provide meaningful service-engagement opportunities and build confidence while also providing adults the opportunity to further develop their skills, stay connected with their heritage, and stay active in the community. With our main focus on Middle Eastern performing arts, and especially Iranian cultural heritage, we have provided music instructions and introductions in traditional Iranian instruments to all ages.
Our academy has helped more than 4000 students and families learn to be confident, explore their cultural heritage, develop their leadership and teamwork skills, express their collective and individual creativity, and become wonderful performers. Our programs highlight Iranian traditions while embracing global art forms, promoting cultural diversity and community engagement across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles.
Our mission is to make arts and culture accessible to all, while creating opportunities for education, community development, and cultural exchange. With nearly a decade of experience in arts programming, we are well-positioned to partner with public agencies, nonprofits, and private organizations on projects that promote education, cultural awareness, youth development, and community enrichment.
